PATOKA LAKE — A Birdseye woman’s Jeep sustained damage when it collided with a deer Monday morning near Patoka Lake.
Connie J. Bolton, 51, Birdseye, was northbound on County Road 1025E in a 2017 Jeep Sport when the 6:45 a.m. accident occurred north of County Road 175S, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Bolton’s Jeep struck a deer that entered onto the roadway from the east.
Damage to the front of the vehicle was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
The deputy was unable to locate the deer.
