Jeep softball team gives awards

DUBOIS — The Northeast Dubois High School softball team’s postseason banquet was Monday, with several players collecting awards.

For the varsity team, Carly Terwiske was named MVP and also shared the RBI Award with Brooklyn Dodd. Clare Mangin collected the Mental Attitude Award and the Pitching Award, while Harlee Zehr picked up the Most Improved Award and Camryn Stemle earned the Hitting Award. Terwiske, Dodd and Stemle were also named to the All-Blue Chip Conference team.

On the JV squad, Haley Reckelhoff earned the Most Improved Award and Courtney Weisheit was the winner of the Hitting Award.
