JASPER — The Wings Etc. restaurant located at 3683 N. Newton St. in the Germantown Shopping Center on Jasper’s north side closed its doors Thursday.

Shelly Witte, executive office assistant with the Wings Etc. brand, told The Herald this morning she didn’t know the reason for the closure, but she was told there is a potential the restaurant could reopen.

Wings Etc. opened in Jasper last May and its menu featured items like fresh-never-frozen burgers, hardwood smoked ribs and rib tips, made-to-order sub sandwiches, jumbo bone-in and boneless wings and beer.

The roughly 4,500-square-foot restaurant, owned by Kevin Chance of Avon, also featured 32 televisions.
