Jasper Rotary Club sponsors clay shoot
March 19, 2020The Rotary Club of Jasper will sponsor a clay shoot on Friday, May 15, at Cool Springs, 9412 E. State Road 64, Velpen.
Participants will shoot from 12 stations with 100 sporting clay targets. Free ammunition will be provided. Participants should bring a 12- or 20-gauge semi-automatic or over-under shotgun (single-shot or pumps are not allowed). Teams of four are recommended, but not required.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the shoot beginning at 9 a.m. Lunch is included.
Tickets are $100 for individuals or $400 for a team of four. Sponsorship are available for $100. The sign-up deadline is Thursday, April 30. The Rotary Club of Jasper has partnered with the Department of Natural Resources Law District 7 to promote youth ATV safety. With donations, the Rotary Club of Jasper will be able to help kids receive proper safety education and purchase approved safety equipment such as helmets, googles, gloves, chest protectors and riding boots.
