Jasper police make intimidation arrest

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department booked a man into custody Wednesday afternoon after responding to the report of a terminated employee making threats.

The 12:11 p.m. call and ensuing investigation resulted in the arrest of Edwin Vega Pitre, 31, Washington.

Authorities booked Vega Pitre into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:31 p.m. on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of intimidation.
