JASPER — Police made an internal theft arrest Tuesday after being contacted by a Jasper convenience store.

The Jasper Police Department was called to the report of a possible internal theft at the Huck’s Food & Fuel at 555 Hoffman Road at 11:30 a.m. Officers allegedly reviewed video footage showing an employee identified as Joseph B. Vaughn, 22, 811 Shelby St., Huntingburg, stealing items from the store on multiple occasions.

Police say the items ranged from cigarettes to sunglasses worth a total $74.78.
