Jasper police make felony intimidation arrest

JASPER — Police took a Daviess County man to jail Monday afternoon after he threatened to kill a Dubois County judicial official.

Traver M. Grubbs, 24, Washington, a Dubois County Community Corrections participant, was heard making the threat at the community corrections center by a community corrections official.

When told the comments he was making would not be taken lightly, Grubbs reportedly reiterated that he meant to say what he did.

Authorities booked Grubbs into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:42 p.m. on a preliminary Level 5 felony count of intimidation.
