JASPER — Police called Monday afternoon to the report of a fight that had just occurred arrested a man for disorderly conduct.
The Jasper Police Department was called to the 2200 block of Mill Street in reference to the fight reported at 2:37 p.m.
Officers made contact with Willie J. Freeman, 52, 2200 N. Mill St., Jasper, and another male who had visible injury.
After learning the two men had been in a physical altercation and investigating the incident, officers took Freeman into custody.
Authorities booked Freeman into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:53 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. He posted bond a short time later.
