JASPER — The Jasper Police Department arrested a woman Monday night for allegedly shoplifting at Walmart Supercenter, 4040 Newton St.
Store personel detained Meghan L. Hall, 20, of 1153 W. 13th St., until police could make the 9:15 p.m. arrest.
Authorities said Hall tried to take cosmetics, pet items and craft items with a total value of $72.56.
Hall was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 10 p.m. on a Class D felony count of theft.
