Jasper places high at invite

The Jasper boys and girls cross country teams both placed well this past Tuesday at the Kentucky-Indiana Border Clash track meet. The boys placed third with a score of 117 (Tell City was first), while the girls placed third with a score of 99 (Daviess County, Ky., finished first).

For the boys, Jackson Miller led the way as he was fifth overall with a time of 16:35.55. Drew O’Neil was directly behind him, placing sixth with a time of 16:38.85.

On the girls’ side, Alyssa Skorge was the highest placing Wildcat, as she finished seventh with a time of 20:32.32. Andi VanMeter was also in the top 10, as she placed ninth with a time of 20:52.67.
