From Local Sources

JASPER — Nick Uebelhor of Jasper won the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division Tournament at Patoka Lake on Saturday by catching four bass for a total of 16 pounds and 4 ounces.

Uebelhor used a variety of lures during the tournament including crankbaits, Carolina-rigged soft-plastics, a 10-inch Berkley Powerbait Power Worm and a football jig with a craw trailer.

His biggest fish of the day was 6 pounds, 3 ounces which was the heaviest of the event. Uebelhor pocketed a total of $4,637 for the victory.

After fishing the Costa FLW Series event on Kentucky and Barkley Lake earlier in the week, Uebelhor didn’t get much time to practice on Patoka but used his past knowledge of the lake to help notch his second career FLW victory.
