Jasper named a 'safest city'

JASPER – Alarms.org recently published a study by the National Council for Home Safety and Security, listing “The Safest Citities in Indiana 2019,” and Jasper made the list as the No. 5 safest city.

The study analyzed recent FBI crime data and local population figures to determine the safest cities.

According to the study, the top five safest cities in Indiana are: No. 5, Jasper; No. 4, Crown Point; No. 3, St. John; No. 2, Carmel; No. 1, Dyer.
