JASPER — Authorities took a man into custody Friday on a felony drug-dealing warrant.
Court records indicate the case against Troy L. Sanders, 27, 109 W. 12th St., Jasper, was investigated by the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department. He is alleged to have delivered Oxycodone, a Schedule II drug, in December, 2017.
An arrest warrant charging Sanders with a Level 4 felony count of dealing in a narcotic drug was issued Oct. 29, 2018, in Dubois Superior Court.
Authorities booked Sanders into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:25 p.m. Friday on the active warrant.
At 9 a.m. Monday, jail officers allegedly found Sanders in possession of cigarettes and a lighter in the security center. As a result, he is preliminarily charged with a misdemeanor count of trafficking with an inmate.
