Jasper man charged in Walmart theft

JASPER — Police booked a Jasper man into the Dubois County Security Center on Thursday on a warrant accusing him of a theft from the Walmart Supercenter at 4040 N. Newton St. this summer.

Terrance L. Holt Sr., 42, 1300 Dewey St., is charged in Dubois Superior Court with a Level 6 felony count of theft.

The case investigated by the Jasper Police Department alleges that, on July 8, Holt took various items of merchandise valued at $816.94.

A warrant for Holt’s arrest was issued Tuesday. Jasper police executed the warrant Thursday with Holt being booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:45 p.m.
