Jasper man arrested for possession of meth

A Jasper man was arrested Tuesday for possession of meth.

Around 1 a.m., Jasper Police Department officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop near 32nd and Newton streets. A K-9 search resulted in a positive K-9 indication. Daniel Voight, 52, was arrested and charged with possession of meth, a Level 6 Felony.
