Jasper man arrested for intimidation

JASPER — A Jasper man was arrested Saturday for intimidation after harassing people over text messages.

Jasper Police Department officers found that Zachary Bohnert, 30, had sent threatening text messages referencing three separate individuals. The case was found to have enhancing circumstances, which led to different levels of charges filed.

Bohnert was arrested and charged with intimidation, a Level 5 felony; two counts of intimidation, a Level 6 felony; and harassment, a Class B misdemeanor. Bohnert was transported and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
