Jasper man arrested for driving while suspended

A Jasper man was arrested Friday for driving while suspended.

The Jasper Police Department conducted a traffic stop Friday in the parking lot of Subway on Newton Street. Officers found that Roy Mills Jr., 31, had an operator’s license with a status of “suspended prior.”

Mills Jr. was arrested and transported to the Jasper Police Department for paperwork. Once paperwork was completed, he was transported to the Dubois County Security Center and charged with driving while suspended prior, a Class A misdemeanor.
