Jasper man arrested for driving while suspended

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department took a man into custody Tuesday morning on a misdemeanor driving offense.

An officer familiar with the driver and his driving status stopped a 2002 Cadillac DeVille driven by Daniel C. Perkins, 29, 582 Sycamore Manor, at Eighth and Clay streets at 9:38 a.m. and allegedly confirmed his license was suspended.

Authorities booked Perkins into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:59 a.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of driving while suspended (prior). Perkins posted bond that afternoon.
