Jasper man arrested after throwing fireworks

JASPER — A Jasper man was arrested Wednesday after throwing fireworks out of a vehicle.

Jasper Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of the Riverwalk near Azura Grill & Cafe in reference to a report of a passenger in a vehicle throwing fireworks at subjects in the area. Shortly after, the vehicle was located at the Days Inn parking lot. Antonio Mota-Espinoza, 23, was determined to have been throwing the fireworks.

Mota-Espinoza was charged with criminal recklessness and public intoxication and was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
