Jasper man accused of sex offenses

JASPER — Police jailed a Jasper man Saturday on preliminary charges that included rape.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office reports taking a complaint involving a juvenile female, investigating and then locating the suspect, Joseph D. Schloesser, 19, 8269 N. Portersville Road, Jasper, at his residence.
Authorities booked Schloesser into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:32 p.m. Saturday on preliminary charges of Level 3 felony rape and criminal confinement, two Level 5 felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
