Jasper girls win second swim meet

That's now two-for-two for Jasper's girls swim team on the young season.

The Wildcats reigned supreme with 282 team points for first place out of 10 teams Saturday at the Mt. Vernon Invite. Heritage Hills scored fourth place with 154 points, ad Southridge sixth place at 114.

Nicole Fant scored a pair of individual wins for the Wildcats, swimming a time of 1:04.59 in the 100 butterfly, and also a 1:01.87 in the 100 backstroke.

Southridge also saw some individual winners, with Adi Luker winning the 100 freestyle with a time of 57.30, and Luker teamed with Lilly Mohr, Jordan Biehl and Claire Hentrup to win the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:48.48.
