Jasper gets festive look for holidays

From Local Sources

JASPER — The community Christmas tree on the Dubois County Courthouse lawn this holiday season was donated by Betty and Sharon Seifert of Ireland.

The lights and red bows on the tree, and the lighted garland on the street poles were donated by Patoka 2000. Pataoka 2000 also decorated the Patoka River Bridge with planters, light streamers, and red and green flags.

The lights on the small bushes and the trees and perimeter lighting on many of the downtown buildings were donated by individual merchants and by the Greater Downtown Jasper Business Association.

Jasper’s Electric Department installed all of the city’s decorations.
