Jasper firefighters answer Villas’ alarm

From Local Sources

JASPER — Units of the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department responded to an alarm activation Wednesday at The Villas at St. Charles, 3187 Villa Way.

There was no fire associated with the 12:52 p.m. callout on the city’s north side, according to Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang. Instead, he added, a pan of butter heating on a resident’s stove triggered an alarm.

There was no damage.

Three trucks and 25 firefighters were on the scene 10 minutes.
