Jasper couple arrested for neglect

JASPER — A Jasper couple was arrested Friday for felony neglect of a dependent resulting in bodily injury.
Ronald Morgan, 35, and Lisa Speedy, 23, were arrested by the Dubois County Sheriff's Office. Morgan and Speedy live at 4427 E. 190 N.
The Department of Child Services requested an investigation in regard to the neglect. A detective went to the residence and found a child with burns and bruises on their body.
Morgan and Speedy were both charged with Level 3 felony neglect of a dependent resulting in bodily injury. They were booked in the Dubois County Security Center on Friday afternoon and held on no bond.
