Jasper cancels “non-essential” meetings

JASPER — The following meetings normally held at Jasper City Hall in the second floor Council Chambers have been deemed non-essential and have, therefore, been canceled for April, pursuant to the Gov. Eric Holcomb’s executive order.
• The public hearings to be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals on April 1 at 6:30 p.m. have been postponed until May 6 at 6:30 p.m.
• The Plan Commission meeting that was scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 1 has been canceled.
• The Arts Commission meeting that was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on April 7 has been canceled.
• The Redevelopment Commission meeting that was scheduled for 8 a.m. on April 7 has been canceled.
• The Stormwater Board meeting that was scheduled at 8 a.m. on April 13 has been canceled.
• The Park Board meeting that was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on April 14 has been canceled.
• The Economic Development Commission meeting that was scheduled for 8 a.m. on April 20 has been canceled.
The Utility Service Board Meeting will utilize technology and meet the adjusted requirements for conducting public meetings.
The Board of Public Works meetings will utilize technology and meet the adjusted requirements for conducting public meetings.
The City Council will utilize technology and meet the adjusted requirements for conducting public meetings.
