Jasper Book Cellar closing in September
August 10, 2020JASPER — The Book Cellar, located at 1103 Main St., Jasper in the basement of the Library Annex and operated by the Friends of the Jasper Public Library will be closing in September.
The Book Cellar is open by appointment only in August. Call or text Betty Bobu at (812) 827-8384 to make an appointment. Masks are required and patrons are limited to five adults at one time, no children.
The Book Cellar is currently offering many free books on a cart at the library and in the Book Cellar back room, as well as discounted and regular priced items in the main Book Cellar. Shopping in August provides a greater selection to choose from.
In September, there will be a goodwill donation sale on select items.
We are not accepting any donations at this time. The Friends of the Jasper Public Library thanks everyone who have generously donated books, and purchased books these past several years.
