Jasper awards basketball honors
June 15, 2020The Jasper Wildcats recently announced award winners for the boys 2019-20 basketball season. Award recipients are:
Coach Ed Schultheis Most Valuable Senior Award: Jackson Kabrick
WITZ/McDonalds Player of the Year: Jackson Kabrick
Academic All-State First Team: Quentin Harmon, Jackson Kabrick
Academic All-State Honorable Mention: Elliott Hopf, Carter Stamm, Reece Day
Team Captains: Quentin Harmon, Jackson Kabrick
Big 8 All-Conference: Quentin Harmon, Jackson Kabrick
HBCA Regional All-Star: Jackson Kabrick
IBCA All-State Honorable Mention: Jackson Kabrick
Scoring Leader: Jackson Kabrick (325 points)
Rebound Leader: Quentin Harmon (154 rebounds)
Assist Leader: Jackson Kabrick (88 assists)
Steals Leader: Carter Stamm (46 steals)
Best Free Throw Percentage: Jackson Kabrick (80%, 49-61)
Best Three Point Percentage: Quentin Harmon (39%, 22-57)
Best Overall Field Goal Percentage: Elliott Hopf (55%, 51-92)
The Jasper boys basketball program compiled a 57-9 record. The freshman team posted a 20-1 record, the junior varsity finished 20-2 and the varsity registered a 17-6 record and won the final Big 8 Conference championship.
