Jasper boys tennis advances to state semifinalsOctober 16, 2020

Jasper is going to the state semifinals Saturday at North Central to take on Carmel, with the winner playing North Central or Munster for the championship. The Wildcats (19-3) bested Brownsburg, 4-1, on Friday at Carmel. Junior Max Sternberg picked up a victory in the Two Singles, while senior Grant Levy did the same for Three Singles. Jasper also swept the doubles. Seniors Jobe Luebbehusen and Grant Stratton were victorious in One Doubles, while fellow seniors Bennett Schmitt and Hudson Himsel came away with wins in Two Doubles.
Forest Park hands out girls golf awards
Awards season is upon us, and Forest Park handed out its girls golf awards. Junior Grace Wendholt just missed out on qualifying for regionals as an individual this year, and she took home MVP honors. Sophomore Grace Haas was named Most Improved, while fellow sophomore Kaitlyn Seffernick received the Mental Attitude Award.

Southridge will play for the Sectional 48 championship on Saturday.
Forest Park was eliminated by South Spencer Tuesday night.
