JASPER — A Friday accident in Jasper resulted in damages to two vehicles but no injuries.

Amy J. Lytle, 41, of Birdseye, and Edgar L. Gehlhausen, 86, of Dubois, were traveling south on Newton Street north of Baden Strasse. Lytle had entered the left turn lane to turn into the North Ridge Shopping Center at the intersection of Newton and Baden Strasse, while Gehlhausen continued south in the straight lane.

Lytle advised that she actually needed to go to the Germantown Shopping Center instead and tried to get back into the south lane and failed to see Gehlhausen. When her vehicle re-entered the south lane, she collided with Gehlhausen.

Damages to Lytle’s front passenger side and Gehlhausen’s rear driver’s side were reported.
