Jasper accident damages two vehicles

JASPER — A Sunday evening accident in Jasper resulted in about $6,000 total in damages but no injuries.

The Jasper Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Third and Main streets around 6 p.m. It was determined that Natasha Doerner, 30, of New Albany, disregarded the stop sign at the intersection and pulled into the oncoming lane of Jeffrey Nonte, 49, of Loogootee. Doerner had approximately $4,000 in damages and Nonte had approximately $2,000 in damages.
