James Orien Tuley, 92, Dale, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019. at his residence.
Jim was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. A lifelong farmer, he also drove school bus for 26 years and was employed at Jasper Engines 7 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Erma Tuley; children, Kenny J. Tuley and Yvonne Hunt; and siblings, Carl, Narl and Horald Tuley and Mildred Oxley.
Jim is survived by his wife of 67 ½ years, Bessie Tuley; children, Dennis (Karen) Tuley, Linda (Jeff) Bailey, Don (Marsha) Tuley and Lora (Corey) Austin; son-in-law, Ken Hunt; grandchildren, Chris (Lisa) Tuley, Kimberly (Ben) Smith, Eric (Shannon) Tuley, Claudette (Daryl) Nicodemus, Amanda (Keith) Mosiman, Andrea (Drew) Lasher, Walter Alex (Rachel Scheller) Bailey, Emily (Kyle) Tevault, Kyle Tuley, Luke Tuley, Courtney (Roger Tonna) Austin and Abigail Austin; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Esther A. Robinson.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. February 9, 2019, at Heilman Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 8844 IN-161, Dale. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Bradley’s Colonial Chapel, 1005 E. Main St. Boonville, and one before service time on Saturday at the church. Interment will be at Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Blindhorse Bottoms Scholarship Fund in Honor of Yvonne Hunt.
