James Logan Bird, age 87, of Hillham, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on June 27th, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in West Baden Springs, Indiana on January 10th, 1934 to Claude Bird and Helen (Henson) Bird.
James was preceded in death by his Parents; (5) Sisters - Jessie Goldman, June Curry, Sarah Jeanette Stone, Theda Cleveland and a sister in infancy; (4) Brothers – Joey Bird, Doug Bird and twins Marvin and Melvin in infancy.
He married Billie Roach on September 19th, 1965 and she survives.
James proudly served his country in the United States Army, retired from JSI and was a member of Peoples Tabernacle of French Lick.
He enjoyed painting, hunting and fishing.
James is survived by: Wife Billie Bird Hillham, Indiana; (1) Sister Annie Gougan Colorado; Several Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Randy Simmons on Friday, July 2nd, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmons Ridge Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmons Ridge Cemetery, c/o Kathy Kalb, 2494 Hillham Road, French Lick, IN 47432.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home 9640 W. State Rd. 56 French Lick, In. 47432.
