JASPER — A Jasper woman was brought Friday to the Dubois County Security Center to finish a sentence in an impaired driving case.
Krista D. Schmitt, 43, 51 Arlington Court, Jasper, received a sentence in May in an impaired driving case that included 80 hours of community service within four months.
In September, the Dubois County Community Corrections Center advised Dubois Superior Court that Schmitt had completed none of the hours ordered. The court then ordered Schmitt to report to the security center on Nov. 1 to serve 10 days.
When Schmitt failed to report Nov. 1 as ordered, a failure-to-appear warrant was issued on Nov. 13. Authorities booked Schmitt into the security center at 10:22 a.m. Friday on the active warrant.
