Investigation results in drug arrest

HUNTINGBURG — Police looking for a man connected to one investigation Thursday night found him at a friend’s residence where they made a separate drug arrest.
Huntingburg Police Department officers who went to the 406 S. Main St. residence of 57-year-old Luis A. Benitez allege he was found in possession of methamphetamine.
An ambulance was called to the scene for a possible overdose involving the man police had originally sought and who was located semi-conscious at the residence, according to authorities.
Benitez was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:18 a.m. today on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of possession of methamphetamine.
