INDOT plans work in French Lick
April 28, 2020From Local Sources
FRENCH LICK — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a lane restriction for State Road 56 in French Lick.
Beginning on or around Thursday, April 30, contractors will begin restricting lanes intermittently from Plum Street to State Road 145 and from State Road 145 to U.S. 150 for a pavement patching and rehabilitation project. This operation will require repairs of certain areas of pavement. Once that’s complete, a new driving surface will be applied.
Work will require the road to be restricted to one lane, intermittently. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Lane width will be restricted to 12 feet. Work is scheduled to last until the beginning of July, depending upon weather conditions.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
