The 2019 Indiana State Games Fit & 50 registrations are now available until May 6.
The mission of the Indiana State Games is to provide older adults the opportunity to engage in competitive and recreational sporting events as well as enhance the quality of life through fellowship and socialization in a safe and enjoyable environment to gain, maintain or enhance an active lifestyle.
The Indiana State Games is the sole qualifying site for Hoosiers advancing to the National Senior Games.
Events include archery, badminton, 3-on-3 basketball, bowling, cornhole, cycling, dance, disc golf, golf, horseshoes, pickleball, power walk, race walk, racquetball, 5K and 10K road race, shuffleboard, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track and field, triathlon and volleyball.
Events take place in both Evansville and Indianapolis. The competitions start on Thursday, May 16 and go until Friday, May 24.
