Ind. native wraps up work on film shot in Goshen

GOSHEN — A film shot in northern Indiana is nearing the end of production, and its producer has begun submitting it to film festivals around the world.

The Elkhart Truth reports “Sand Castles” was shot in Goshen last year and tells the story of a family whose 5-year-old daughter is kidnapped but returns 10 years later. She finds her family has fractured and that it’s difficult to mend relationships.

The film was written and produced by Elkhart County native Jordon Hodges. He also serves as the film’s lead actor.

Hodges says “Sand Castles” will premiere at the River Bend Film Festival in South Bend in April. Until then, he’s finishing up work on the musical score and submitting the film to festivals.
