Impaired driver arrested after crash near JasperApril 28, 2014

JASPER — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department arrested Timothy L. Myers Jr., 27, of 968 W. Division Road, at 1:18 a.m. today and charged him with driving while under the influence of drugs.
Myers was arrested after a deputy responded to an accident at Schnellville Road near Rustic Acres Road east of Jasper and found the Ford Explorer Myers was driving crashed into a ditch.
A drug screen at Memorial Hospital came back positive for methamphetamine, amphetamines and methadone, according to police.
Myers was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 6:06 a.m. Police said he was also cited for having a false or fictitious registration.
