WASHINGTON — A Huntingburg woman was arrested in Washington this week and charged with dealing methamphetamine.

Police say Adina N. Lopez, 40, 107 S. Main St., Huntingburg, was the driver of a Dodge Caliber found Monday night to contain a tin packed with four plastic baggies of a crystalline substance that field tested positive as 7 grams of methamphetamine.

Officers with the Washington Police Department and Daviess County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lopez and a passenger, Jaime L. Kessler, 42, Washington. Both women were booked into the Daviess County Security Center and then charged with two Level 3 felony counts of dealing in methamphetamine.
