Huntingburg store collecting for veterans

HUNTINGBURG — In advance of Veterans Day, the CVS Pharmacy in Huntingburg, 610 Main St., is collecting gently used, clean clothing, blankets and personal hygiene items for homeless veterans.

Items will be collected in the store parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and will be transported to Evansville after they are sorted by Huntingburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary members.

A box inside the store is for smaller items only; items may be dropped off anytime between now and 3 p.m. Saturday.
