Huntingburg Public Library November Events

Families are welcome to request and check out the Pumpkin Jack by Will Hubbell book in the Evergreen card catalog. The story is about the Life cycle of pumpkins.

The Library will be closing at 5 pm on November 24th,  Closed Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving Day), Closed November 26th. Evergreen will be updating during this time so e-resources may not be available. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will reopen at 9 a.m. on November 27th.

Children’s Story Hour (Ages 3-5) - Mondays, 11 a.m. to noon and Thursdays, 1 to 2 p.m. 

Storybook Walk on 4th Street (all ages) - November 5 to November 13. Stop by the library to pick up a map. Read the pages posted in store windows. When you get to the last page, go inside to receive a token. Bring the token to the library for a prize and a chance to win a fun Playdough kit!

November 5 - STEM/Maker Van (ages 4+), 4-5:30 p.m. Learn to make Ozobots and Coding Critters!

November 9 - Bilingual Storytime (all ages), 5:30 p.m. Craft activity to follow.

November 17 - Cake Decorating with Liz (ages 17+), from 6 to 7:30 p.m. There is a $5 nonrefundable registration fee. Limited Seating. Pre-registeration is required. 

November 13 - Family Fun Day (all ages), from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

November 16 - Make a Snack (all ages), from 4 to 7 p.m. Stop by and make an oreo turkey!

November 23 - Family Storytime (all ages), 6 p.m.

November 30 - Builder’s Night (all ages), from 4 to 7 p.m.
