Huntingburg named best place for young families

HUNTINGBURG — LendingTree recently named Huntingburg as the best place for young families in Indiana.

The ranking took into account median household income, median housing cost, home ownership rate, percentage of households that have children, the unemployment rate, the percentage of 16-to-19-year-olds not enrolled or graduated from high school, and average travel time to work.

Behind Huntingburg, Westfield came in at No. 2, Huntertown at No. 3, Dunlap at No. 4 and Zionsville at No. 5.
