HUNTINGBURG — A Thursday night complaint reporting a possibly impaired driver resulted in an arrest.
The Huntingburg Police Department received a report of a possibly impaired driver southbound on Main Street at 8:10 p.m. The vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer, was located westbound from Main Street on Fourth Avenue and the driver, Susan J. Partenheimer, 64, 610 S. Chestnut St., was stopped after she allegedly drove left of center and stopped in the roadway.
Police say that, during the traffic stop, the odor of alcoholic beverages was detected, which led to Partenheimer allegedly failing field sobriety testing.
Partenheimer was transported to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center for a blood draw that allegedly established her blood alcohol content at .165 percent.
Authorities booked Partenheimer into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:46 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
