HUNTINGBURG — A Huntingburg man has been charged in connection with a domestic incident investigated last week.

The Huntingburg Police Department launched an investigation Nov. 4 after being dispatched to conduct a welfare check, according to court documents. Police ultimately alleged children were present and a female victim was pregnant during a Nov. 3 domestic incident that resulted in injury.

The investigation into the incident resulted in a warrant being issued Nov. 8 in Dubois Circuit Court charging Nathan A. Drake, 33, 1430 Timber Ridge, Huntingburg, with one count each of Level 5 felony, Level 6 felony and misdemeanor domestic battery.

Drake turned himself in at the Dubois County Security Center on the active warrant Thursday evening. He posted bond later that night.
