Huntingburg man arrested on OWI, drug charges

A Huntingburg man was arrested Thursday for operating while under the influence and drug charges.

Around 10 p.m. Thursday, deputies with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 5000 block of Kellerville Road north of Jasper for a vehicle on its side off the roadway.

While investigating the circumstances of the crash, Dubois County Sheriff's Office K-9 Chase was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Deputies then located methamphetamine and marijuana.

The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Cameron Hall of Huntingburg was taken into custody for: OWI-Refusal with a Prior Conviction, a Level 6 felony; Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class A misdemeanor; Driving while Suspended-Prior, a Class A misdemeanor; Possession of Marijuana. a Class B misdemeanor; and False Informing, a Class B misdemeanor.
