Huntingburg man arrested for invasion of privacy

HUNTINGBURG — Police investigating a report of a no-contact order violation took a Huntingburg man into custody Tuesday.

The protected person in the active no-contact order also disclosed information about a prior battery involving the same subject, authorities said.

After investigating, the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office took Ricardo Vanegas Escutia, 45, 201 S. Sycamore St., Huntingburg, into custody at his residence.

Authorities booked Vanegas Escutia into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:03 p.m. on preliminary misdemeanor counts of invasion of privacy and domestic battery.
