HUNTINGBURG — The Huntingburg Police Department arrested a man for domestic battery and underage drinking Friday night.
Officers responding to a 10:22 p.m. call at a 100 block East Fourth Street residence made contact with a female who said she had been battered by Adam Morris, 20. Morris was not at the residence.
During investigation of the incident, Morris contacted Dubois County Communication to inform officers he was at the Gaslight in Huntingburg. Officers met Morris there and found him to have consumed alcohol, where he tested .168 BAC.
Morris was arrested and transported to the Dubois County Security Center where was booked for domestic battery and minor consuming, both A misdemeanors.
