Huntingburg man arrested for domestic battery

HUNTINGBURG — A Huntingburg man was arrested early Monday morning for felony domestic battery.
Members of the Huntingburg Police Department were dispatched to the residence of Oscar Ortez, 53. The victim stated that Ortez had been drinking and accused her of cheating on him, pulled her hair and grabbed her wrist.
Ortez's blood alcohol content was found to be 0.289. He was booked in the Dubois County Security Center at 2:04 a.m. on the charge of Level 6 felony domestic battery.
