Huntingburg firefighters make Thursday run

From Local Sources

HUNTINGBURG — Members of the Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department made a brief run to a mobile home park on the city’s south side Thursday afternoon.

A neighbor reported a detector sounding at a neighboring residence in the 400 block of East Second Avenue at 2:09 p.m., according to Fire Chief Scott Patberg.

The only problem was a faulty detector.

Firefighters responded with one truck and were on the scene 25 minutes.
