HUNTINGBURG — Units of the Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department responded Friday night to the report of a television set fire in a home southwest of the city.

The first firefighter on the scene at Martha Harvey Twist’s residence at 4095 W. Old Road 64 carried the TV outside, according to Fire Chief Scott Patberg. There was no fire but the set emitted smoke and a foul burnt odor, the chief added.
